The staff were not on-site at night while at least a dozen young people were talking very loud, banging doors, honking car honks, etc. until 4am! We tried calling and nearly called the police because this took place at 1am, 3am and then again at 4am.

Location was within one block of everything we did... Ate at the pearl and cocktails and dance at the union club.
Cigarette smoke smell but it is an older hotel so take that into consideration.

This hotel hasn't had a renovation since the 80's. Duck tape covered light switches that didn't work. Dismal would be generous. The cream cheese at breakfast had soured and curdled.

The location is ideal if you are going to a concert at the wilma.
Way overpriced. The room was dirty toilet paper in the toilet and hair all over the shower when we arrived. Towels looked like they were 20 years old same with the bedding.

Don't plan on having much of a breakfast here. Waffle batter was bad, bagels were old, very dirty breakfast room. No conditioner provided in bathroom.

The location
Dark and quiet when we arrived. No one there to welcome us. My reservation was not kept. I was quote"lucky" that someone else cancelled, even though I had a reservation weeks ahead of time, and provided my e-mail conformation. The room was dingy and dark. Bathrooms are in serious need of updating/cleaning. Overall bad experience.

It was within easy walking distance to nearly everything we had planned for the weekend, as well as unplanned activities that came up. Room was very clean, and not too noisy considering the place was full and parking is right under the rooms.
Not enough parking spaces on the property for every room so we had to park on the street the first night. The elevator is REALLY slow. Instead if certain rooms set aside for smokers they have ashtrays mounted on the walls in a few places outside so you end up going through the clouds of smoke on the way to the stairs/elevator/breakfast room if anyone happens to be using them right then.

The fact I had a room when there was none available anywhere else.
